Welcome to Chester Metal Fabrications. With over thirty years’ experience in the design and manufacture of sheet metal products, outstanding customer service and exceptional quality are the core values at the heart of our business.
Based in Chester-le-Street, County Durham, Chester Metal Fabrications Limited was established in June 2005 following a management buy-out of James Engineering Ltd. (est. 1968). Our excellent location on the Stella Gill Industrial Estate allows us to proudly boast two units for our own Powder Coating Facility, on top of three units housing our Sheet Metal and Fabrication Departments.
All our staff follow the comprehensive training programme originally conceived by James Engineering, ensuring our customers receive the best possible service from all departments. Much of our pride lies in the knowledge that our staff are trained to the highest standards, the overwhelming satisfaction of our clientele being evidence of this.
Ongoing investment in software, improvement in specialised CAD/CAM facilities and constant review of operational processes have allowed our production capacity to greatly increase. Investment by James Engineering in 2003 provided further data-collection software for the Production Departments, allowing for more accurate analysis and company-wide development. Our dedication to constant improvement of our systems and procedures allows Chester Metal Fabrications to continue to provide quality products at competitive prices.
Long-standing relationships with customers are testimony to the company’s ability to design and manufacture sheet metal products to both the client’s high specifications and our own stringent quality control measures. Our project portfolio is vast, having successfully undertaken work for a huge range of industries including, but not limited to:
