COMPANY PROFILE

 

Chester Metal Fabrications Limited was founded in June 2005 following a management buy out of the former James Engineering Limited which was founded in1968. Based at their original site in Chester le Street County Durham, Chester Metal Fabrications Limited occupy five units on the Stella Gill Industrial Estate, three for its sheet metal and fabrication departments and two for the powder coating facility.

 

James Engineering developed a comprehensive training programme to ensure all staff were trained to the highest levels, evident in customer satisfaction achieved through exceptional Quality and Customer Care procedures, which can be found at the heart of Chester Metal Fabrications today.

 

Ongoing investment in software saw the production capacity greatly increased, due to the improved CAD/CAM facilities, estimating and production processes. More recently in 2003 James Engineering further invested in data collection software within the production departments, allowing more accurate analysis to be achieved, ensuring that Chester Metal Fabrications benefit in providing quality products at competitive prices.

 

With over thirty years experience in the design and manufacturing of sheet metal products the Company’s ability to manufacture to the clients high specification is evident in the long standing relationships developed with clients.

 

Projects successfully undertaken for a wide range of industries, include: Retail, Medical, Fire Protection, Security, Motor Conveyors, Lighting, Textile Machinery, Weaving Machinery, Printing Machinery, Audio Architectural, Sign, Electronic, Telecommunication, Defense and Offshore.
